|Description:||Genre: Oral history/custom. Title: Togo Pou2. Tole Du'a (Bangu Ngasune) was recorded in his home in the early afternoon 28 Jan 2015 in Hobo, located above Maluriwu, by SD using the AT2022 mic. This story (begins 10 s in) is about the ritual Togo Pou (new boat ritual with song and dance, a feast). Present were also Ebbe (Pidu), Din (Captain), Lucia Nona, Pajo Popo. Three tales were recorded after another, in one recording. This fourth story was recorded separately. A shorter narrative about Togo Pou (1) was also recorded after the origin myth (initially titled Dhana mere). Portrait in SD1-109.|
