Description
Genre: Folk tale. Title: Toji no'o Léso. Toji (woman) and Léso (man) told by Punga Hari (a grandmother, or even great grandmother, b. 1930s-40s). Toji and Léso went to Ko'a to 'togo', ritual dance. Returning home over the mountain, they discovered a pond. Toji wanted to bathe and disappeared. Léso returned and told the story. Later Toji's clothes were discovered in another place, far downhill. After this event, or even later, the people asked for rain from Toji and Léso. With verses from that song, Toji and Léso. Recorded in Ndeo 2 Dec -14 in the evening on the bamboo-'woga' in front of Sosu's house after Sosu had narrated a tale. SD with Blasius Sosu (Sosu Karapaune), Veronica Punga, Lebi, Hilarius Ratu.
