Abstract
Brief excerpt from interview: I can honestly say that I don't recall any of them being weak or unsuccessful. I think in some capacity it really helped the writer recognize place-based issues and take ownership of where they can really make a difference. I think I'm more interested in writing and so that passion follows through, but I've had a lot of teachers kick things back and tell me I could do better.
