dc.description This item includes a segment of a student interview in a Writing Intensive course in American Studies at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. The interview was conducted in 2013, and in this clip the interviewee is responding to the question 'In responding to your instructor's writing assignment, what challenges did you face?'
dc.description.abstract Brief excerpt from interview: It was kind of hard to go through [the assignments] and include everything, because there was so much [new material that we were discussing and learning in class] to talk about and include in our writing... We had good rubrics, so it was easy to follow the instructions, so everything was clear and straightforward. The information is in the syllabus.
