Abstract: | With a large number of people depending on the news media for environmental information, it is pertinent to ask, "What kind of information is the news media giving the public about environmental issues?" Does it provide enough information to formulate an opinion on? How is the information presented? How does the media itself influence the information? In this thesis I have narrowed the focus, but not the intent of the above questions.
