The Study Of The Concentrations Of Alkaline Phosphatase, Lactate Dehydrogenase, And Alcohol Dehydrogenase In Tissues Of Pinctada Galtsoffi And The Resolution Of Isozymes Of Alkaline Phosphatase In Tissues Of Pinctada Galtsoffi And Crassostrea Virginica
|dc.description.abstract||Observations that the fundamental metabolic activities of most organisms are very similar are associated with the finding that enzymes catalyzing identical reactions may be found in many different organisms and different tissues within organisms (Markert and Mo1ler, 1959). Modifications in these metabolic activities at the organismal, or tissue level, however, may greatly alter the relative importance of individual metabolic reactions and their enzyme catalysts.|
