Abstract
This study attempts to estimate the surves for growth under natural conditions for the Giant Neotropical Toad, Bufo marinus Linnaeus 1758. These curves would relate weight, width of jaw, and snout urostyle length to age. Growth curves are fitted to recapture data with a computer. This has not been done in many previous studies of anuran growth rates and can replace more primitive statistical techniques, such as length frequency distributions.
