Title: Absence of Circadian Rhythmicity of Gas Exchange in Onion Seeds
Authors: Kakazu, Kerry
Issue Date: 15 Jan 2014
Publisher: University of Hawaii at Manoa
Abstract: Gas exchange rates of dry onion seeds were found to fluctuate randomly with time. There was no statistical eviĀdence suggesting the existence of a circadian rhythm of gas exchange. Pretreatment of seeds with different phases of light cycles had no effect on the pattern of gas exchange.
