Absence of Circadian Rhythmicity of Gas Exchange in Onion Seeds
|Title:||Absence of Circadian Rhythmicity of Gas Exchange in Onion Seeds|
|Issue Date:||15 Jan 2014|
|Publisher:||University of Hawaii at Manoa|
|Abstract:||Gas exchange rates of dry onion seeds were found to fluctuate randomly with time. There was no statistical evidence suggesting the existence of a circadian rhythm of gas exchange. Pretreatment of seeds with different phases of light cycles had no effect on the pattern of gas exchange.|
