Abstract
One of the hallmarks of the Ehrlich ascites tumor (EAT) is the formulation of huge ascites in the natural host, the mouse. This disease process has been the subjects of innumerable investigations. It has become increasingly evident that the presence of the tumor causes an alteration of the host immunological processes. EAT bearing mice have been shown to have lowered immunological capabilities as shown by suppressed cell mediated responses and by decreased numbers of antibody producing cells.
