|Abstract:||Late every Friday night for the past two years, I've driven to the Manoa Recreational Center to meet some friends for a few hours of midnight basketball. Usually the conversation between our games hardly ever ventures outside of the realm of basket ball shoes, basketball teams, basketball anything for that matter. There is always the occasional talk of maybe getting a tattoo, or piercing an eyebrow, but not much else. However, one night before the beginning in of the fall semester, we stopped discussing where and when to get that heavily debated first tattoo and, for once, a serious topic wriggled its way into the arena.|
