|Abstract:||The song of Denise Levertov is a vibrantly happy one. Unlike poets who pour forth an endless lament in the role of misunderstood prophet, Miss Levertov eagerly accepts the challenge of human existence with the will not only to overcome adversity, but also to progress, create, and fulfill. For illustration, one may note the poet’s thinking in “Three Meditations,” stanza i.|
