|Abstract:||In May 1966, the newest phase of the continuing Chinese Revolution was well under way. The Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution, as it was called, actually had already been decided upon by Chairman Mao Tse-tung in 1965 although very little progress had been made then in carrying it out.|
