|Abstract:||Education has been an integral part of men's lives throughout history. The scope of its functions has spanned from ensuring that firemaking techniques were passed on to future primitve men to providing present men with a general knowledge of many topics so that they can best adapt to changes in their lives. The influence of education has been, and continues to be pervastive because it is the system used by men to nesure the survival of the following generations. Through giving schools the responsibility of transferring human knowledge from the education and experienced to the uneducated and inexperienced, generations have been able to build upon the progress of preceding men.|
