|Abstract:||The intention of this research is to exemplify why legalization and decriminalization of sex work is a topic worth researching as well as understanding. At a glance sex work may seem like a subject reserved for a very small part of a concerned society, but I believe upon further research and analysis this will prove to be untrue. The issues at hand when discussing sex work touch on the very basic rights of choice, human sexuality, and social control which are elements no one is a stranger to in modern society. I researched sex work and the legal and social dilemmas surrounding it, so that this often- misunderstood subject will receive adequate attention and consideration from the community.|
