Item Summary

Title: Documenting, analyzing, and teaching the grammar of direction in Karuk
Authors: Garrett, Andrew
Mikkelsen, Line
Issue Date: 12 Mar 2015
Description: We are developing an online resource to support research, teaching, learning, and revitalization of Karuk (Hokan, northern California). To illustrate the value of integrating a morphologically analyzed lexical and text database with a syntactically parsed text corpus, we discuss how research on the morphosyntax of directional suffixes can inform pedagogy.
