Zastrow, Jan


Jan Zastrow was responsible for overseeing the Hawaii Congressional Papers Collection, comprising the papers of Hawaii delegates to the U.S. Congress, and heading the Archives & Manuscripts Department of the University of Hawaii Library from 2001-2011.

Her professional archival experience includes work at the Hawaii State Archives, Iolani School Archives, the Hawaiian Mission Children's Society Library (Mission Houses Museum), and at UHM's Bachman Hall processing the papers of then-UH President and Chancellor Kenneth P. Mortimer. Zastrow is past president and longtime member of the Association of Hawaii Archivists, the Society of American Archivists (SAA), the SAA Congressional Papers Roundtable, and the Academy of Certified Archivists.
