Abstract: | In New Caledonia Cerioxynus n. gen. (Cyclopoida, Liehomolgidae)
contains Cerioxynus faviticolus n. sp. from Favites halicora (Ehrenberg) and Cerioxynus alatus n. sp. from Favia favus (Forskal), both hosts belonging to the Faviidae. Amardopsis n. gen. (Lichomolgidae) contains Amardopsis merulinae n. sp. from Merulina ampliata (Ellis & Solander), a host belonging to the Merulinidae. The lichomolgid Panjakus platygyrae Humes & Stock, 1973, is recorded from a new host, Platygyra astreiformis (Milne Edwards & Haime), a coral belonging to the Faviidae. |
