Legend of Moon
(This story is told by Wenyi, a native speaker of Pudonghua. The story is mainly about the story of Moon Festival and a tragic romance between Houyi, who shot eight sun down and Chang’e, who left her husband and flew to the Moon).)
Long long ago, have a young girl named Change. Her husband named Houyi. Change and Houyi were born in very rich families. There were close with other since childhood. There was one day, Houyi went outside and saw many suns in the sky. He counted, one, two, three,…, nine. Nine suns! The farmers on ground were so sad, because (there were) too many suns in the sky. The day became super hot, so they couldn’t work in farmland. They asked Houyi to think up an ida of getting rid of those suns.
