NON-EXCLUSIVE DISTRIBUTION LICENSE

By signing and submitting this document, you agree that either: (1) you are hereby granting the
University of Hawaii at Manoa ("UHM") a nonexclusive license to reproduce, Translate (as
defined below), and/or distribute your submission, including the abstract, worldwide in print and
electronic format and in any medium, including but not limited to audio or video, in which case
this document serves as a license agreement; or (2) your submission is in the public domain, in
which case this document serves as a confirmation of public domain status.

1. If this document serves as a license agreement, then the following terms and conditions apply:

1.1. You warrant and represent that you have the right to grant the license that is the subject of
this document.

1.2. You represent that, to the best of your knowledge, UHM's exercise of its rights under the
license that is the subject of this document will not infringe upon anyone's copyright.

1.3. "Translate" shall mean changing the current medium or format of your submission into a
different medium or format for the purpose of preservation, without changing the content of your
submission.

1.4. You agree that UHM may keep more than one copy of your submission for purposes of
security, back-up and preservation.

1.5. IF YOUR SUBMISSION IS BASED UPON WORK THAT HAS BEEN SPONSORED
OR SUPPORTED BY AN AGENCY OR ORGANIZATION OTHER THAN UHM, YOU
REPRESENT THAT ANY RIGHT OF REVIEW OR OTHER OBLIGATIONS REQUIRED
BY SUCH CONTRACT OR AGREEMENT HAVE BEEN FULFILLED.

1.6. You will provide information about the copyright holder(s) for your submission
(the "Copyright Information"). UHM will display the Copyright Information together with
your submission. UHM will not modify the Copyright Information without your prior written
consent.

1.7. Other than as allowed by this license, UHM will not make any alteration to your
submission.

2. If this document serves as a confirmation of public domain status, then the following terms
and conditions apply:

2.1. You warrant and represent that you have a reasonable, good faith belief that your
submission is in the public domain.

2.2. You represent that your submission does not, to the best of your knowledge, infringe upon
anyone's copyright.
