"This proposal for designating geothermal resource subzones by the Board of Land and Natural Resources summarizes the results of a statewide assessment of potential geothermal resource areas which best demonstrate an acceptable balance of factors set forth in Act 296, SLH 1983. The assessment was conducted by the staff of the Division of Water and Land · Development with the participation of an interagency technical committee; federal, state, and county agencies; private industry; and the general public."
