Abstract: The workshop uses examples and small group discussion format to achieve three intended outcomes: (1) Participants accept that rubrics can be developed over time and the maturity of the rubrics shows the reflective and iterative process of teaching. (2) Participants can select a strategy or a combination of strategies to develop a rubric. (3) Participants plan to use rubrics for assessment and for learning.
