|Description:||Genre: Legend/oral history. Title: Ware Pa'e 4. Lengu Nandene (b. c. 1916) tells about the legendary Ware Pa'e for the fourth time. She tells about his magic, how he had his power place at sea. He was friend with a kind of whale that brought him sirih pinang when in need. This recording is from an unplanned session with Mama Lengu 20 June 2015 (I was actually recording Bapak Pui's 'huru' and in his home). Lengu had said the previous time (second time) that she had no more stories to tell. This time I was more asking questions about the past. Recorded by SD using the AT2020 mic. With Bapak Pui, Mama Yuli, Methi and Mboe and a few passer's by, listening in. Photos in SD1-044 to SD1-050, and in SD1-025 to SD1-02.8|
