Genre: Folk tale. Title: La'u Du'a (Old La'u). Lengu Nandene (b. c. 1916) tells an amazing tale about two youth who are abducted by a giant with gigantic ears. They escape from him and search for a better life. Versions of this tale are also told by Pidu (Ebbe), Lanu and Kanda Sera (Doto no'o Walo), and perhaps more. From the second recording session with Lengu Nandene. Recorded by SD with the AT2020 mic 2 February 2015 in the hime of Bapak Pui and Mama Yuli. With Maria Methi and others.
