Abstract: Brief excerpt from interview: The weakest part [of my writing]... is just getting started. We weren't given one set guideline of 'this is what we need to have.' It was just general. We had the farmer's perspective... He would give three or four suggestions to help us focus one way or another.
Description: This item includes a segment of a student interview in a Writing Intensive course in Animal Science at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. The interview was conducted in 2014, and in this clip the interviewee is responding to the question 'What elements of your writing performances would you identify as weak or less than successful, and why?'
