Abstract
The aim of this project was to construct a better body-type hearing aid without the use of cosmetically wia, ppealing wires leading from the transmitter to the receiver. Two kinds of receivers were considered. One was a passive receiver which did not require any batteries while the other was an active one which required a batter,y to power it. The results obtained from this study conclude that the passive system is not feasible at this time while the active system coulc:J be realized with the existing technology.
