Abstract: This thesis presents for the first time, a new method for fitting the charging curve of)electric vehicles into a power system. To utilize to the best advantage the power presently available, a geographical charging scheme is also proposed. In order to enforce the time schedule and to minimize control costs, it is recommended that a timer be used. Oahu is used as a case study, and detailed analysis is given.
