Abstract
In a recent study by Batkin and Tabrah (1), they reported a significant decrease in YC-8 lymphoma growth when using a rotating permanent magnetic field at 60 Hz. Growth was also inhibited to a lesser extent when a 20 Hz rotating permanent magnetic field was used. When exposed to the same type of magnetic fields, Lewis lung carcinoma cells exhibited no significant differences in growth.
