Abstract
Weekly or bimonthly microplankton samples were taken from 8 stations in Kaneohe Bay, Oahu, Hawaii, from July 24, 1968 to June 11, 1969. Counts were made of diatoms, some dinoflagellates, microcopepods, and nauplii. A detailed study of the distribution and abundance of diatoms within and around Kaneohe Bay was made. Special emphasis was placed on taxonomy of diatoms in the Bay, and the seasonal distribution of diatoms within the various geographical sectors .
