Abstract
The presence of adenosine receptors upon hamster caudal epididymal (HCE) spermatozoa was observed. Evidence for this discovery included data of the binding to HCE sperm of N6-cyclohexyladenosine (CHA), Bmax 2.87 pmoles/10^10 cells, Kd 12.9 nM; and of the binding of 1,3-duethyl-8-phenylxanthine (DPX), Bmax 7.7 pmoles/10^10 cells, Kd 19.8 nM.
