Abstract
Only four very short years had gone by since I, myself, was a high school student, but there I was in high school again, only this time I was a mathmetics teacher and not a student. Playing the role of student teacher was at times difficult for me as the students were so close to my own age and their appearance and behavior sometimes made it difficult to distinguish student from teacher. However, inspite of similarities, the role I played made it improbably and unwise for me to associate with the students on a very personal basis.
