Abstract
One of the greatest problems confronting educators today is the problem of providing students with workable and meaningful lessons. More specifically, such a problem confronts the language arts teacher, the teacher who is responsible for the literary education of the student. One important area in that vast realm of literary education is poetry, and it is especially in this field that the teacher is faced with the difficult task of formulating lessons. The problem is, then. to create a workable and meaningful poetry unity for the student - more narrowly, to create such a poetry unit for the student at the intermediate level.
