dc.description.abstract	Since 1986 the University of Hawaii at Manoa anthurium breeding and research program has received 189 plant accessions from the Missouri Botanical Gardens and various other sources in the Netherlands, Latin America, and elsewhere. Of these, 49 accessions were evaluated for spathe and spadix width, length, and color, flower yield, and other characteristics such as disease resistance. The results should be useful for anthurium breeding, research, and germplasm programs.	en_US
