Title: When I Wake
Authors: Dominguez, Timothy
Issue Date: 16 Jul 2013
Publisher: University of Hawaii at Manoa
Abstract: When I Wake follows the life of a young man and his surreal journey into the true final frontier: the depths of the human mind. Growing up without a father, he naturally depended on his mother, a curandera (Native medicine woman), and they shared a powerful bond. She had instilled in him invaluable lessons about the world, as we know it, and the alternate reality that exists in the mind. He took these lessons to heart, and mastered the art of lucid dreaming: the ability to consciously control one’s dreams.
