|Title:||Leptonic and hadronic branching fractions for J/psi via psi(2S) --> pi⁺pi⁻ J/psi|

|Abstract:||The BES II detector was used to collect 14 x 106 ψ(2S) events, in order to study the dynamics of channonium bound states ψ(2S) and J/ψ. The ratio of the branching ratios ψ(2S)→ π+π- J/ψ, J/ψ →pṗ and ψ(2S) → π+π- J/ψ, J/ψ → e+e- is determined. In addition, the ratio of the branching ratios ψ(2S) → π+π- J/ψ, J/ψ → pṗ and ψ(2S)→ π+π- J/ψ, J/ψ →µ+µ- is determined in two independent ways. The angular distributions for each of these processes are also analyzed.|
