Abstract
This study intends to evaluate academic writing course for international graduate students at a university. By adopting the Systems Approach, this study seeks to find some limitations of the course in order to promote its effectiveness. Through the teacher interview and survey as well as student survey, it also investigates students and teachers’ attitudes toward the course. The analysis of the data showed that teachers tended to perceive the course valid in terms of its objectives. However, students perceived some inconsistencies among course objectives, testing, and materials. Further suggestions are to be presented.
