ItemAre Girls Going Wild in the New Millennium? Facts and Myths about Girls' Aggression and Violence( 2010-08-11)Nearly a decade into the 21st Century, it seems like the news about girls is increasingly alarming. We've had gangsta girls peering over the barrels of guns, mean girls, girls gone wild, and even brawling cheerleaders. Given the high level of interest in girls' use of violence and aggression, it is actually remarkable that so little careful academic work has been made available to those concerned with the facts and not the hype. This talks aims to fill this void by making two major contributions to the discussion of girls' aggression and violence.
