Abstract:	Ophiorrhiza is an Indo-Malesian genus belonging to the family Rubiaceae and comprising about 150 species. The genus is taxonomically complex in many parts of its range, but a world-wide treatment has never been attempted. This study is limited to a taxonomic consideration of the Pacific species.
