(Harold L. Lyon Arboretum, 1980-01) Fisher, Jack B.

    (Harold L. Lyon Arboretum, 1977-11) Sohmer, S.H.
This contribution deals strictly with the genus Psychotria as it exists in the Hawaiian Archipelago. It reviews the taxonomic history, characters of taxonomic significance, and phylogeny of Psychotria in Hawaii. It includes a key to the two sections Straussia and Pelagomapouria. This section is followed by keys to and discussions of the species within each section.

(Harold L. Lyon Arboretum, 1976-09) Darwin, Steven P.
Ophiorrhiza is an Indo-Malesian genus belonging to the family Rubiaceae and comprising about 150 species. The genus is taxonomically complex in many parts of its range, but a world-wide treatment has never been attempted. This study is limited to a taxonomic consideration of the Pacific species.

The genus Orania Zipp (Arecaceae) in New Guinea
(Harold L. Lyon Arboretum, 1980-01) Essig, Frederick B.
Orania is a genus of about 16 species distributed from Malaya to the Philippines, New Guinea, and Australia, with the largest number of species in New Guinea. The species are for the most part poorly collected and poorly known, so the present effort at revision is clearly preliminary. This paper is presented as a guide to the identification of the known species of Orania in New Guinea.

    Annotated Checklist of Hawaiian Mosses
    (Harold L. Lyon Arboretum, 1974-03-29) Hoe, W.J.
Forty years have passed since Bartram (1933) published the only comprehensive moss flora for the Hawaiian Islands. The purpose of this checklist is to gather together information from publications of the last four decades and thus to present in a single treatment our knowledge of the Hawaiian moss flora.
